Repair and Restoration
Not only do we build beautiful pieces that last, we also save and bring new life into existing pieces. Using a combination of hand and machine tools to repair and restore that favourite item.

Reclaimed solid timber is the material of choice. I have relationships with local demolition and salvage businesses.
I also sustainably source timbers from local saw millers who use trees salvaged by urban arbourists
I hand finish all of my works in-house using a variety of traditional techniques, each specifically suited to the style, period and/or purpose of the piece being finished.
The materials i use to protect the timbers include; modified tung oil, shellac, danish oils, and environmentally friendly hard wax oils.
