Opus in Wood is a custom design and make wood working service.

At Opus in Wood every piece is thoughtfully designed, with the primary consideration being that the piece will be around for a long time and must be something that both maker and client can be proud of.

Materials are carefully hand picked to provide a tailored solution for each application. Environmental considerations form a large part of the selection process, with biodiversity as my personal interest.

Solid recycled timber is my material of choice, but ply woods and veneers along with new timbers also have their place as design solutions.

Using traditional joinery techniques and solid timber, in the right environment, a piece will survive generations.

Traditional craftsmanship with beautiful woods are the corner stones which allow inspired design to flourish.
